148081: Sælge til Grækenland? (11-03-2015 15:02:45)

Jeg har fået denne forespørgsel for lidt tid siden:

Greece is a small market for Land Rover vehicles and especially during the early 1980’s and up to the mid 1990’s not so many Land Rover Defender Station Wagon or Station Wagon County vehicles were imported due to the restrictions of the Greek State on high engine capacity for gasoline powered vehicles and the almost total ban for diesel powered vehicles.
Now that Defenders are close to the 25 and 30 years age limit for classifying them as classical vehicles a lot of interested buyers are looking for Land Rover 110 Defender Station Wagon (5 door) vehicles with either the V8 3.5 engine or with the 2.5 TD (turbo diesel) or 200 Tdi engines.
We are therefore addressing our friends and colleagues in your Club who would be interested to sell their Defender 110 SW of such an age (from 1984 and up to even 1991) and engine (3.5 V8, or 2.5TD, or 200Tdi) regardless of whether their vehicle is in running condition or not, has registration number plates or not, is missing parts or even its engine.
We are mainly interested for vehicles with a good solid chassis with most of its genuine running gear.
The vehicles will be restored and preserved and one of our goals is to avoid having them turned into scrap metal.
1. Top prices paid for D-110's and D90's, especially for D110 Station Wagon 5 door vehicles with the V8, 2.5TD and/or 200Tdi engines
2. A chance to see your old machine transformed and bought back to life with a modern twist
3. A wide range of used parts and accessories which can be remove from 25 year old Defenders before restoring them. Parts that can be a treasure for a fellow LR enthusiast either in your club or from another LR club in a different country.
4. A chance to connect with and be part of a Land Rover focused network being run by enthusiasts for other enthusiasts.
6. A chance to save Defenders which used to belong to the Government, Public Sector legal entities or Companies or Municipalities of your country from getting scrapped and instead gaining a new life in the hands of a fellow enthusiast who will treasure them.
If any of your club members owns such a car and wishes to sell it we will be glad to hear from him/her or them
Thank you in advance for considering our request and for your kind assistance in preserving our beloved vehicles.
Best regards from Greece
